Guttersworth was a human village that existed during the New Age.  It was located at the bottom of the Uncanny Valley, though it was largely ignored by Torlynn due to it being technically outside their jurisdiction, and was eclipsed by the far more prominent and interesting Duchess Castle.

Citizens of Guttersworth tended to be mistrustful, and locks that secured their doors were far more complex than those of, say, the town of Torlynn.

The town constable was a man named Winzig.

Adolescents from Guttersworth would sometimes travel to the neighboring ruined town of Northton to engage in various illicit activities.  (SEE: Cundrie; Prydwyn; Tristam.)

Blaxton MacKenzie and his daughter, Rouge, lived in Guttersworth.

Around unctual year 3890, following a split with Mariposa, "Four" Wheeler ended up in Guttersworth.  His edict while living there had been "thief-proof, Troll-proof, and 80 proof," a testament to the lack of security inherent to the village. He found work at the Skeleton's Key, whose back alleys were also home to a number of vagrants.

In 3891, warriors from the Moth Dominion began claiming the sick and elderly from Guttersworth, absconding with them for an unknown, but surely sinister, purpose.

Alternate Reality[]

At some point, Four made some changes to reality using the fate-shifter that had inadvertantly resulted in Guttersworth ceasing to exist.  He had made so many changes by this point that he was uncertain what change he had made that resulted in its absence.

Trivia[]

Guttersworth was several hundred miles away from the Golden Desert.

Behind the Scenes[]

The reason for the kidnappings from Guttersworth was not discovered by Four in The Curse of the Fate Shifter, but were finally addressed in Embarrassment of Riches.
