Northton was a human settlement that existed as a ghost town during the New Age. It had thrived for three human generations, and was significant as the northernmost point in the realm to be settled by humans, but eventually it was abandoned and allowed to fall into disrepair (except, inexplicably, for the C'Mon Inn, the only such structure that remained standing). Northton was approximately six country miles away from Guttersworth.
The ruined town made an ideal location for disenfranchised teenagers from Guttersworth to vent their frustrations. In unctual year 3891, two such youths, Tristam and Prydwyn, encountered a rogue zom in Northton, but never revealed this fact to the rest of their home town.
