Rainbow's End was the name of a village existing in Novapangaea during the New Age. It was originally a tiny human village, somewhere south of the Elvenwood, whose population was only around 60 people.  The town had consisted of perhaps 20 or 30 one-story structures, and produced a modest amount of pottery for trade with neighboring towns.  It also included an industrial metal-stamping press.

The Curse of the Fate ShifterEdit

In unctual year 3891, the Giant war machine, operated by Dwarves, approached Rainbow's End en route to destroy the Elvenwood.  Talla Unica and Normal arrived at Rainbow's End in advance of the Giant's arrival and tried to warn the populace, effecting an evacuation.  The Giant subsequently demolished most of the town.

The Veil of SoulsEdit

Three years later, Rainbow's End had been completely rebuilt.  They had endured dragon attacks and torrential flooding in the past, but were determined to emerge triumphant.  They attributed their good fortune to the lodestone they had inherited from their ancestors.

In 3894, the castle-ship Endeavor raided Rainbow's End to steal the lodestone from the Ancestral Hall, inadvertently killing Roana Messenger in the process and infuriating Goldwyn Cartwright.

Behind the ScenesEdit

The author used the name Rainbow's End for one of the towns in The Veil of Souls, not remembering that it had previously been used in The Curse of the Fate Shifter.   The author decided to just roll with the mistake and made both towns one and the same.
