Roana Messenger was a young female human living in the town of Rainbow's End during the New Age. As one of the survivors of past disasters in the town, she was among those who remained behind to make repairs and rebuild. She seemed to have a romantic interest in Goldwyn Cartwright.
In unctual year 3894, while she had stopped by the town's Ancestral Hall and was visiting with Goldwyn, the crew of the castle-ship Endeavor stormed the Ancestral Hall, looking to steal the lodestone on display. Roana was knocked over by a Dwarf, stumbling into the armor of Terryn Blackwood where she was sliced nearly in half by the double-bladed axe on display. Roana died only minutes later in Goldwyn's arms.
