The Silver Palace was the central point of a kingdom existing during the New Age.  It was the closest neighboring castle to the Torlynn border, about twenty miles away.  It was governed by a ruling princess, though the kingdom was known for its political turmoil and internal scandals.

The Quest for the World-Breaker[]

The Silver Palace was considered, but quickly dismissed, as the source of the cannon balls bombarding Torlynn Castle in unctual year 3889.  The source of the assault was, in fact, the airship Xanthippe and its goblin crew.

Embarrassment of Riches[]

Following the destruction of Torlynn Castle and the absence of a ruling body, official Torlynn affairs were temporarily handled by the Princess of the Silver Palace. She was not enthusiastic about Torlynn, however, and her involvement had been cursory at best.

The Veil of Souls[]

Midnight sentries from the Silver Palace has once snuck into Porticus Umbra and attempted to steal a small amount of elementium ore from the statue of Lady Divinity.  A melee battle resulted, during which the invaders were driven away.

Behind the Scenes[]

The reference to the Silver Palace is a tongue-in-cheek reference to the fact that some of the story material for the Butterfly Princess series owes its origins to a tabletop role-playing game in which the author participated.
