Wandpan

Wandpan was a Dwarf living in Stonekeep during the New Age.  Though he was forbidden by Dwarf law to practice sorcery, he possessed a secret, forbidden fascination with its existence and its potential applications.  He even went so far as attempting to teach himself the magical arts.  During his travel to the Elvenwood, his dabbling in the arcane arts proved fortuitous when he was able to channel his lifeblood into the Elf magic that propelled the Giant into the sky.  Unfortunately, Wandpan underestimated the amount of life energy he would be expending, and died as a result.
