Zwierad Wheeler was the first child of Roue and Argent Wheeler. Born in unctual year 3858, he eventually helped raise his younger brothers and sisters as he grew older. He was particularly close to Quatre, raising him in the absence of their wayward father. His other siblings included Gratis, Fliegen, Perno, Diciotto, and Dois.
In 3874, when Zwierad was 16, he became ill from malnutrition and anemia. Due in large part to their destitute living conditions, he frequently gave his own meager share of food to his younger brothers and sisters. Despite his mother's best efforts to care for him, Zwierad died in 3881 at the age of 23.
Alternate Reality[]
Using the fate-shifter, Four traveled back to his childhood days and made an anonymous donation to the Wheeler family, intending to provide his mother with the money needed to keep Zwierad healthy. Four was successful in saving his brother's life, but upon returning, he discovered the creation of an alternate unfolding of events. Without the death of his brother to provide an impetus for young Four, he would never go on any adventures—this version of Four never sailed aboard the Mermaid's Bliss or met Mariposa.
Behind the Scenes[]
Zwierad's name is a gag. It is the German word for "bicycle," making his name, in effect, Bicycle Wheeler. Yeah, we know it's not that funny.
